From the Motley Fool web site, a link to a Popular Science write up on the Clik! drive.

popularscience.com

From what the author has to say, I'm apparently not the only one who intends to keep my digital pictures on Clik! disks. Since I've had two (count 'em...two) hard drive crashes since April of 1996, I'm sure not crazy enough to copy my pictures to my hard drive then erase them from the Clik! disks just to save a few bucks. Instead, I intend to copy the pictures to my hard drive and keep the originals on the Clik! disks, simply buying more Clik! disks when I need them. Doing this assures me that the probability of losing my data (pictures) is virtually zero.

I'm not one to "pick sh*t with the chickens" and could care less about the cost of a few Clik! disks when I need them. At nearly $750 for my Agfa ePhoto 1680 camera I'm simply not going to get excited about the cost of a few Clik! disks now and then, because losing my data (pictures in this case) would be far more traumatic to me!
