<<my take on it is that gold has been strong today after yesterday's sharp sell off >> dd, problem with your logic is sell-off yesterday was(correct me if I'm worng) -1.93. Up today if far greater. "Dead cat" theory states range move is only 50 - 90% of prior down. Feels like more going on.
