Jim,

Are you suggesting that AMD will be getting higher ASPs for K6-2 even though there is a cost penalty due to the chipset? If so, is the reasoning based on "MHz sells" and "AMD has better yields" or/and something else?

How about product mix: Does the Whitney move make it more advantageous for AMD to have higher than planned wafer starts on K6-3 and K7 until some chipset guy comes up with a Whitney equivalent? In essense, will the Whitney/Celeron pricing move have the effect of moving AMD to high end faster than anticipated? Do you see/hear anything that suggests this could be happening? What is your understanding of the demand side for K6-3? Is there enough demand to handle the faster ramp?

Any thoughts?

Chuck
