If we go with your last assumption...that 3com may not be close to being sold...then it poses an interesting question. That being...what is the underlying rationale for all this heavy volumn? I do not think
I want to contribute it entirely upon "rumor frenzy". There are so many variables in the equation right now that it is difficult to solve for any particular one at the moment. How these variables are interacting and to what extent is the mystery. The person(s)who can figure out what is going on is going to profit considerable. 3com corporate certainly have a better "view" than you and I and I am confident in saying that there are a few of us who would like to be the "fly on the wall" within corporate/mgmt discussions. Strange as it may sound...we have to take our que from "studying" the body language
of corporate members from the questions/news releases. Their words are going to be weighed very carefully and I am sure they are going to be
very careful as to what they say, and especially how they relate it!
