It could merely be that the painter is depicting life faithfully. LOL!

I have read that married men are happier than unmarried men, but unmarried women are happier than married women. I think the unhappiest are married women. Not sure who is happiest.

I think it's because of all the housework, and now so many women have jobs, as well as being responsible for the housework. And then so many men are pigs, not all of course, our own cyber-pals are exceptions, I am sure. (Lather made me say that). I am sure that my sons would make good husbands, if they ever learn to pick up their clothes from the floor and stuff like that.

My own husband does an awful lot of housework, so I don't complain about that. But I am glad I have my own bathroom. I have my own bedroom, too. And my own income. My own car. My own bank account. I never have to ask for a penny, nor explain my purchases. That makes being married much more tolerable.
