I think that sounds . . . . nice. Very nice. Except you left out the part about the way you felt when you felt miserable for an hour after he told you he didn't want to talk about it, and finally you became overwhelmed by the emotions, and started crying.

You described what was on the outside, which looked nice. But I bet what was on the inside didn't feel so nice.

But I think you are in much better control of yourself than I am. I am getting better, but I have to work at it.
