Mike, one of the big reasons that TCI ne AT&T chose Cornerstone Voice for VoHFC (voice over HFC - how's that for a new acronym? Or has it been used before?) is that Cornerstone incorporates a new feature that provides for an elegant and cost effective transition between traditional switched architecture POTS and VoIP packet based POTS.

This means no stranded investment in old technology when the critical mass for VoIP is upon us. Just change out a hardware module, upgrade software and you are there.

Quite a good marketing and technology ploy, in my opinion.
