<<Any idea why the tech sector looks so weak today--simple profit taking after the run up of the last week?<<

This morning there was cheer and partying going on everywhere and the Nasdaq futures were up sharply. I knew after 10am that we were in trouble as there was too much divergence between the Dow and the Nasdaq. The market seems to have a way of doing the opposite of what most people expect to the extent that it will hand your head to you on a platter. I am hoping that AOL does not disapoint when the earnings are soon to be released. Also I think it may be in their bet interest if a stock split 2 for 1 is announced. Well we will soon see. CPQ was up today, Dell, Intel and Microsoft was down. Give us a break.

Best Wishes,
Frank
