This is vote day. Arp may become Homestake soon. All my Arp shares are in the RRSP now so I don't suffer the tax consequences of the buyout.

I think gold is up Frank, but I may be wrong. The gold stock index in the U.S. is up by 5 %. Homestake is up by almost $.50 US. Barrick should be up with a cashcost of $130 US per oz (and declining still), forward sales locked in at $400+ US, record profits and production for the spring quarter. I would be happier with $5.00 up,...a dollar is a joke.
