I'm new at looking at this stuff, but here's some trading info from TMSR's recent 13D. It's about a guy who's got something like 320K shares (average cost of $7) and it details his recent trades. Here they are, rearranged chronologically by me:

Date No. of Shares Purchased Price/Share
---- ----------------------- -----------

Bot 2/2/99 7,200 11.67
Sld 2/5/99 10,000 10.625
Sld 2/10/99 15,000 10.3417
Bot 2/19/99 2,500 11.95
Sld 3/10/99 6,200 11.5
Bot 3/12/99 1,500 11.875
Bot 3/17/99 500 11.00
Bot 3/18/99 500 10.625
Bot 3/19/99 2,000 10.9375
Sld 3/24/99 5,000 11.25
Sld 3/25/99 3,000 13.00
Sld 3/30/99 5,000 11.25
Bot 5/31/99 2,500 15.0625
Sld 3/31/99 2,500 15.0625
Bot 4/1/99 4,000 15.1563
Sld 4/5/99 5,000 17.00
Sld 4/6/99 5,000 17.875
Sld 4/7/99 5,000 17.875
Sld 4/8/99 5,000 20.125
Bot 4/19/99 1,000 22.535
Sld 4/19/99 1,500 18.9375

Bot 21700 shares
Sld 68200 shares

Is this common behavior?? Why would someone with hundreds of thousands of shares piddle around with blocks this size??

Does anyone have any comments on this trading activity? I just don't understand it.
