I agree... comparing the two is like comparing a garage sale or consignment shop (ie. Ebay) to a retail store (ie. bid.com). Both have a reason for existence. But why would you want to compare one of these business models to the other.... I find all the messages that do this incredibly frustrating!!! Anyone who has actually reviewed these site will see the difference right away. At Ebay you can buy other peoples' trinkets and trash. At bid.com you can buy brand new computers, monitors, etc with full warranty. Definitely apples and oranges! Given that the people who do this appear to have no other interest than stock bashing I don't think we'll ever see the end of their posts however.
