RTev and Sir Francis Drake, I agree completely with your assessment of the msft/doj issue. Overall I like msft, things just aren't as black and white as you'd like them to be sometimes.

BTW Drake: Someone here was confusing Francis Drake with Walter Raleigh. Walter Raleigh was kind of a weenie on Elizabeth's court, not well liked. Drake otoh was a great naval guy and single handedly pillaged the Spanish Armada for Elizabeth, then the pope wanted to annex England for catholicism (thinking Elizabeth was unfit for rule being a bastard and daughter of a courtesan) and Phillip of Spain sent the spanish Armada which was huge to defeat the smaller english navy. Drake and the English Admiral lured the Armada into a half circle with their more agile fleet and managed to set fire to a few of the ships, the wind was blowing (the "protestant" wind) and pretty soon the other ships caught fire eventually destroying 1/2 the spanish fleet, they had to retreat. Elizabeth let Drake and Admiral ?? fight their own war where the Phillip of Spain was micromanaging the entire affair which was another problem. Drake died at an early age, he was an adventurer and hero in England.
