Thanks for the article, El.

Speaking of the Armada line... I telephoned CPQ this morning to talk to someone about the Armada 7400 vs. 7800 notebooks. The woman I spoke with was **very** knowledgeable, far more than some of the people I have spoken with in the past in CPQs consumer division. Anyway, after a while I steered the conversation over to how poorly CPQ has been performing lately. The woman said integrating Tandem and Digital has been very difficult, has been taking more time and has been more involved than ever expected.According to her, the big problem CPQ had/has is absorbing Digital rather than any weakness in PC sales, which she said were, "Very robust."

At this point I told her I was a shareholder and as a shareholder, I had been under the impression that the integration of Tandem and Digital was basically complete. The way she talked, I was under a misconception. She said to wait, that there was a lot in the works and that shareholders should be a lot happier soon. Her exact wording was, "Give it another 2 to 3 months."

7400 or 7800? That is the question. Although I do like the keyboard at the front of the machine. Hummmmm.....
