Sheldon, You may recall that IDX (pre-IDT) was qualified by CA as a single sign-on provider. I would be amazed if IDX/IDT didn't have this capability, whether announced yet or not. I believe IDT may be working on a specific single sign-on feature for its scanner, which is rapidly being upgraded.
