Kind of strange that Carolyn Whelan didn't know that (well maybe it's not that strange) but CTXS is a Y2K solution.
As an exec from CTXS clearly stated in their conference call, customers are seeing CTXS deployment as a solution to their Y2K desktop problems. This was so clear, that I can't believe the reporter acts as if Y2K was bad for CTXS. IMO, it's a positive.
As Templeton stated(I believe it was him), a company has 100 desk tops operating as a traditional LAN. Well come 2000, a ton of those desktops may have a ton of Y2K problems. Well if the company just purchased CTXS product, then BINGO, the desk top problems have gone away. Only the server(s) has to be Y2K compliant, and the desk tops, no matter how old they are, work fine.
I thought it was probably the most clearly stated point in the CC.
