As a result of defendants' acts of unfair competition, defendants have been benefitted to the detriment of Business Wire. Defendants should be required to provide restitution of such amounts to Business Wire.

When they say, "restitution of such amounts", they obviously refer to money you've earned by virtue of birdsnest wire that ought to have been theirs. Or are they talking about amounts of benefits, sort of in a general sense, like fresh air and water.

Its just SOOooooo confusing. How have you been benefitted? Financially? a better sex life? I'd like to get in on next April 1 if that is the case...

Seriously though: its tough to have your life disrupted by this kind of stuff; so hang tough and if you need any witnesses for testimony...I come fairly cheap :) I will tell the court that my opinion of business wire has not been altered in the least, as a result of them knowingly publishing that April Fools Joke...

BTW, there are many examples of the media perpetrating April Fool Jokes. They do it every year. And then there are jokes in general. Anybody remember when the martians attacked planet Earth? Now that was a good one! I wonder if the statute of limitations has ran out on that!

Off to bed. This should be hot thread of the week!
