Brad, I'm not quite following you?
You write: "Brian, No....no...no... The approach created by Identicator is "fingerprinting" You need to read the posts in detail.......MasterCard is a credit card company......The people who will build the system are Mondex, Oracle and Verifone. MasterCard is speaking at a conference on this very subject:"
The post (my previous post), in which Mr. Lisker is quoted, didn't say that Mastercard was creating the system. It did say that the approach created by Identicator was about to be tested (starting in June 1996). This doesn't mean that Mondex, Oracle, or Verifone will or will not be involved in anything. If identicator gets a systems contract then the finger reader could be made by anyone that the winner chooses or licenses to include Identicator.
From credit cards, To credit cards with magnetic strips To credit cards with magnetic strips and photo ID To credit cards with magnetic strips fingerprint code with or without photo ID
At this point in time, based on what I know, it appears that Identicator has an inside track with Mr. Lisker and Mastercard. If you have any definitive posts to the contrary, please post them, I would like to have the most current information.
Thank you, Brian Malloy |
