Hello to all! I am posting my first entry here after having watched this thread for some time. I would like to say first off that I claim no expertise on the main focus of the thread, that being NWI and mining prospects in general, nor do I claim to have any prognosticative talents to allow me to predict market movements that allow me to take advantage of the future. I do feel I know people and am a good judge of character. This thread has brought forth a variety of characters. Most of you are pleasant and cordial to follow. Some are apparently more educated and enlightened on the subject matter and in general. You share this common bond and interest and are hopeful that the end result will bring you satisfaction. You express your ideas and opinions in order to inform and comfort yourselves in finding others to agree with you and thereby lay to rest any apprehensions and doubts you may have about your decisions. This is a good thing as it is of a positive nature with an aim to help and not hinder. The decision to be involved in the investment has already been cast as most claim to be stock holders of varying degrees.
It certainly is no revelation that involvement in any mining venture is speculative at best. Has there ever been a situation where it was predetermined that a mine was imminent prior to having ascertained this before drilling results proved it so? Obviously, no matter how well the companies cash reserves are or how respected the principles of the company may be or how extensive the drilling program is or how many players, large or small, have interests in the area, it's all still a guess and barring any scams, it's generally an educated guess. However, none of these good intentions put the ore in ground. It's either there or it's not!
Now, without any further painstaking statements of the obvious, is there realy anybody out there who does not realize this? I think not! WE (now I include myself amongst you ) who have taken it upon ourselves to throw money at this venture, are more than aware of the both negative and positive possibilities of the outcome. That's the game! It's a compilation of risk and possibilities versus returns. It's a bet and the posts serve to try to inform to hedge against it and if it doesn't pan out, to help lick our wounds. I like the "action"! If I were afraid and looking for a sure thing I would invest in GIC's only and retire in 150 years. The mere fact that we are involved in this investment shows that we share this common trait and want more stimulation than is to had with "blue chip" involvement. As somebody already posted earlier, "You lay your money down and you take your chances".
Now this seems clear enough to me! So why do we have those other pessimistic "I told you so", "I was right and you were wrong", "Ha! Ha! Look at your misfortune", "You see, I'm smarter than you", type of people on this thread? They are maladjusted, insecure, cowardly types who envy, not the situation that we find ourselves in with this investment, but those of us who can have the courage to follow our hopes. They are clearly out of their element and know it and resent it! Anyone who didn't care for this venture and was a well adjusted person, would not waste the time of day to tell you about it! This having been said, I suggest these people should be completely ignored and not responded to. Their nature is malicious and should not be pandered to.Of course this should not apply to any posts that bring up valid, non editorial points of objection that are considered informative. I apologize for this extremely lengthy post and vow it will be the last of it's sort.

P.S. To all you "Nay Sayers" Let me save you the time about the jokes about my moniker. Remember that whether I am or am not "dirtpoor" it's out of my own choice. "It's better to rule in hell than serve in heaven" (Milton, I Think)
