If those FY2000 estimates don't move strongly upward over time, we are all very,very wrong about this company
Ya gotta love these low estimates! Predicting .92 for next quarter, when we had a "pro-forma" 1.20 this last quarter. With the write-down done, I don't see how it will be under that.
Long term, earnings will out, of course, but short term, which would you rather have:
Low projected earnings that Q beats 20 to 40%?
High projected earnings that Q meets and beats by a penny? (al/la Cisco)
I assume the stock will end up at the same point, but am I right? maybe beating low estimates consistently may bring in the mob, and "pump us up". But, If you don't plan to sell any for 5 years, like me, do you care? Hmmmmmm....... |
