Hungry Jack, it's true. But it is the simple things in life that are most gracious. I am becoming a 'local' here in Paris and have started to really enjoy the plate of cheeses that comes around to the table after the main course. In a friends home or at the restaurant this ritual of offering fresh cut slices off blocks of sheep cheese, goat cheese and the mild cow cheese has become a real pleasure. Mmmmmmmm.
The best part, is bopping down to the boulangerie and picking up the baguette while it's still warm and taking a bite out of it while walking back home. Mmmmmm. I think the french know how to enjoy their red wines too. I am not sure if I have no clue if a red has a bouquet or not, but I still can't find a bad bottle for 4.00 dollars (2 and 3 yes) but any 4.00 dollar bottle of a red seems to pass over my palette, pas problem. Chin Chin.
