2 b included n the dow 5 a company must not only pay a dividend, but b 1 of the 10 highest yielding in the average. then, the lowest 5 in price (of that 10) r the dow 5. therefore; MCD,AXP,S & UK r eliminated right off the bat.

if MO's yield were corrected for the 3-1 split trading @ 50, it would still make the dow 5.

using 2/28 data the dow 5 are: 1.T 2.IP 3.MO 4.GM 5.CHV it is very possible that MO will see the infamous #2 slot.
