the idea is probably to get the price over $5 so brokers and institutions not allowed to invest in lower-priced securities can purchase this one. But what kind of credibility can a firm have that talks of a buy-back and then .... are they really selling another 7 million shares? um... that is current shares, not post-split shares, yes?

perhaps the contributor who sits on the phone with Herr Doctor would give us her impressions, or his. i never much liked the idea of the head man spending what seemed like a lot of time with a minor shareholder -- don't you wish he had better things to do? -- but i'd like to hear a few words from him on the buy-back that became a sell.
