Mike, there's an old saying, "Never stand in front of your enemy when he is trying to destroy himself." (This bit of sage precedes political correctness.)

Unless the cablecos do some serious realignment of their downstream distribution networks, i.e., from the field nodes to to the residence, they too will face similar, if not even greater, throughput problems.
