AOL doesn't have the firepower to buy T. A merger may be possible down the road, but T would have to be willing. T not only has a greater market-cap, but mainly bundles and bundles of cash, which AOL doesn't. I also think it is unlikely that AOL will be able to outbid T for Media-one. Even if Comcast and AOL team together for Media one, it will stretch them both financially versus a very liquid T. Better off looking for someone else.
