They have two groundstations in the US...One in San Diego, One in Las Vegas. They use regular Television Sats using KU band. the whole hub is their own design. If they use Globalstar, it is just replacing one groundstation feed wiht another. It would seem that this is not such a big deal. Probably most of the work goes into the handset interfaces to the truck.
