The War Powers Act is essentially dead unless the Democrats retake Congress. For all intents and purposes, the War Powers Act and the Boland Amendment (that Daniel Boone loves so much) might as well be discarded. Perhaps, in the future, the Democrats will pass an Earthlings With Disabilities Act so that the U.S. can declare war on any country that discriminates against any group and leave the definition of disability up to the Commander-in-Cheese.
