Teltran International to Acquire OmniCom of New York NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 28, 1999--Teltran International (OTC BB:TLTG) announced today that it has agreed to acquire 100% of the shares of OmniCom of New York, an authorized agent of UniDial Communications. Based in Manhattan, OmniCom of New York has been in business for over 5 years as a profitable telecom reseller. The acquisition of OmniCom of New York will complement Teltran's current product line and accelerate their entry into the areas of switched and dedicated phone services, including 1+ outbound and toll-free inbound, networking, frame relay, wireless phones and service, Internet access, debit cards, billing software, multi-media conferencing and network marketing services. Teltran also plans to feature UniDial services on its Teltran.com web portal in order to attract more small to mid-size businesses and the retail consumer marketplace. "The acquisition of OmniCom of New York will enable us to penetrate new markets, present a more inclusive service offering to our customers and prospects and add yet another service to Teltran.com," said Peter Biagioli, Teltran's Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
