I am not familiar with the VGY so I will have to do a little homework on that one. But getting back to the RUT my own personal feeling is that what ever happens between now and then on that index, whether we get a huge rally (which btw the RUT is poised to break higher if it could get through and hold that key level) or falls apart is something that should NOT be discounted on the charts. In other words I think you have to respect the integrity of the data, with OR without the stocks that you pointed out. If the index jumps here I will respect the implications of that move, as well as a potential collapse when those stocks are taken out. Of course my market decisions will be based on the overall picture of things to include the other market indexes.

My approach for the RUT may be wrong. But I do believe from my experience that any news will often be discounted in the price action prior to things actually happening. Once again we are forced to wait and see how things pan out.
