Lee,

>>>> TRIN has just crossed over 1 which is bearish but TICK is skyrocketing which I recall is bullish........ Is this a flush out of weak shares where buying in is warrented or is this the last push up with the TICK before the real drop and a few stocks are just at the leading edge? <<<<<<

I dont really follow the TRIN that much so I dont have a good opinion on that, but I do follow the TICK. I mainly look at the rate of
change(DELTA FACTOR) rather than the number in absolute terms.

I noticed earlier that in about 10 minutes the TICK jumped from 100 to 800, a very fast 700 point move. At the same time the DOW only
moved about 20 points. So that implies that it took a bit of buying to move the DOW only 20 points. From my experience such quick moves in the tick can be bullish or even bearish,if there is no follow-thru.

In this specific case there was follow-thru in just the DOW, since the
TICK started declining but the DOW did not, so it is bullish for the DOW only at this time. With the TICK moving up so strongly, the NAZ moved only slightly to the upside, so for the NAZ its bearish or neutral.

Hope I made some sense.
