It's possible. But for now I'm going to reserve my opinion. For every opinion you have others will counter it. This is good! OK, I have to state an opinion! I already mentioned xDSL versus Cable in the near term. But longer term, lets say five years out I think Satellite will gain in a Big way. That (satellite) technology will only improve and for me I'd rather do business with anyone but the RBOC's and Cable companies. These companies will have to greatly improve their customer relations in the coming years. I'm all for higher bandwith and I really don't care (except for certain invetsment reasons) who delievers it, as long as it is reliable. ISDN has been highly reliable for me. But I'll tell ya I cannot imagine TCI Cable providing me with Internet service, my Cable goes out or has glitches quite often. I cannot remember the last time I was without phone service. However the RBOC's like US West (my ISDN provider) have their problems too. They are the enemy that want's to have us pay for their network upgrades that they should have been implementing for years.
They are pathetic and I believe they (if they get their way) could seriously damage internet growth.
