I'm with you chief. That news report got my blood pressure up @ first but rationally a couple of things come to mind.

1. As per the upgrade in the Ballard stock in this mornings paper. I think it was presumptuous of Morgan Stanley to assume that GM or BMW could be beneficiaries of any Ballard technology. They may not even be allowed access to the technology. They are not the major shareholder in the company. Just considering California alone, they want 10% of cars there to be this technology by 2001. Calif. has a population the size of Canada. With stakes like this I'd want to own at least a big chunk of the technology/company, otherwise...

2. As Kevin mentioned earlier. The GM/BMW report said 'solid oxide' not PEM

3. What I don't know is ... will GLE prices be dropped before a GM acquisition?
