I e-mailed Steven J. Williams at geocities.com about TA and how things seem to get muddy at he extreme tops or bottoms. He basically said that there is too much of a focus on the micro level.

In other words, the 2 clocks, one with the right time and one that is a few minutes off, will both still give fairly accurate time if you stand far enough back.
