Heinz: I have just been pondering something along these lines. Note the lack of distance between the NYSE and NASDAQ volume. At one point it was 606 million (NYSE) vs. 651 million (NASDAQ). Later it was 667 million (NYSE) and 711 million (NASDAQ). I am reading this as a lack of buyers in the DOT rather than an abundance of sellers in the DOT. It isn't clean because of AOL being NYSE but it is something I am pondering.

When the NASDAQ volume returns, we should see the DOT trading activity resume. Unfortunately, I do not have the trading volume for the DOT stocks now. I do have many listed and may try to eyeball it.

I agree that a good AMZN earnings report may move the DOT this time.
