I think the DLT 8000 news was much more significant than the HDD news. I'm sure RDRT's news didn't help much. There's another one that I may buy soon. PS I generally consider the Yahoo threads to be a monumental waste of time....lotsa idiots there. If Techmeister is the same techmeister I remember and if Gus and Sam are still here among a lot of others, I see no reason to go to Yahoo for QNTM info. Or disk drive info of ANY kind for that matter. John
