As I have said many times, I do not take the Bible literally. Some of those passages are some of the very reasons why. In my mind, it does not correlate very well with my beliefs. Just for grins I did a word search in the new testament only and only the KJV, on the word "called" . It occurs 229 times in 220 verses. MANY MANY have to do with the "called" of God. Who are the "called"? Think it is the one that determines in his/her own feeble mind that their path is better because he/she does not understand God's path or that they do not "like" or "agree" with some portion of God's word? mememememememememememememememememememememeemememememememememeememe If it doesn't, I hope they find something that will.
