I spoke to investor relations today and inquired about ARM-X AND BRO-X. All I got on ARM-X was "no comment", "I am not going to discuss rumors". I asked him to inform us shareholders if anything does come about. Also, he stated drilling results for BRO-X should be out in June 1997. I told him shareholders have been communicating on Silicon Investor web-site quite vigourously, but he did not know the SI site and I was not home to give it to him. He stated the company is positive on the expose' of barricks' business dealings in Indonesia, and I let him know most shareholders support the companys' decisions; going up against ex-presidents/prime-ministers/political influence had to be difficult.
