Its interesting how things get personal.

I just had a root canal done. The doctor
prescribed an anitinflammatory. It was
IBUPROFEN. An oral NSAID.

After telling me not to drive, operate machinery,
or do anything dangerous until I know how I
react (1900 people in Canada reacted last year using NSAIDS
by dying) Here's is the list of the possible side effects:

"Side effects that may go away during treatment, include nasuea,
vomiting, diarrhea, gas, constipation, indigestion, stomach
cramps, dizziness, lightheadedness, drowsiness, or headache.
Check with your doctor as soon as possible if you experience
swelling of hands or ankles, ringing in ears, rash, itching,
VOMITING MATERIAL THAT LOOKS LIKE COFFE GROUNDS, blood in stool
or vomit, or stomach pain. Contact your doctor immediately
if you experience swelling of hands, face, lips, eyes, throat,
or tongue; difficulty swallowing or breathing; or hoarseness.
If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your
doctor, nurse, or pharmacist."

I'm not taking it unless my jaw gets to be the size of
a grapefruit. Wonder if rubbing Pennsaid on my jaw
would work?
