The Valence (VLNC) stock fraud.

Valence promoters have recently released a new round of misinformation designed to pump the stock before the next round of highly dilutive financing closes.

The latest rumors that have made their way to internet bulletin boards are about a "relationship" between Energizer and Valence and the value of Valence patents. Valence promoters want potential victims to believe that anyone who makes a Li-Poly battery will pay royalties to Valence.

Both of these rumors are lies. There is no current or past relationship of any sort between Valence and Energizer. Valence also posses no unique technology of any value to competing Li-Poly manufacturers. Valence is simply another licensee of the Bellcore technology which permits anyone to manufacture Li-Poly batteries. It should also be noted that Valence is not even receiving any R&D subsidies anymore, and its past development deals with companies such as Delphi have been terminated and never renewed.

Today, Thomas & Betts (NYSE: TNB) announced that it has shipped "production quantities" of Li-Poly battery packs. TNB has no relationship with Valence, and will not pay Valence any royalties. Valence has no manufacturing capability and to date has never produced a commercial-quality battery.
