IWM and WAVC are two completely different kinds of wireless technologies. One if fixed, the other is mobile. WaveRider transmits using radio frequencies, IWM communicates via digital cellular (CDPA). At some point in the distant future you may see a minor merge of technologies however I cannot see at the moment how that would happen. With WaveRider you buy the product and there is no airtime charge as it does not utilize a network or a phone connection, however you are limited to a local area that has or has not line of sight, IWM connects via a cellular data system that allows you to travel between cellular system which you must pay airtime. Speed is also the other difference. Fixed wireless is significantly faster than digital packet data through a cell.
