They are most definitely lying!
August 24 PR: "KENWICK INDUSTRIES COMPLETES ACQUISITION" of Automax... (this means they didn't get any income from Automax before that date, Brad, just so you know).
February 23 PR: "Kenwick's Automax Division's consolidated income (unaudited) for the year ending December 31, 1998. -0- *T - Income:$4,509,303 - Cost of Sales: $2,294,730 - Gross Profit: $2,214,573 - Operating Expenses: $379,818 - Net Earnings Before Taxes: $1,834,755 Pre-tax Earnings Per Share on 3,650,000 weighted shares: $.50 EPS
In the 2/23 press release, they claimed earnings (50 cents EPS!) for almost eight full months of 1998 in which they didn't own the company.
I haven't seen a retraction of this release, have you?
Saying you earned money you could not have possibly earned since you weren't even around to earn it is known as lying, Brad.
Truth is when you don't lie. I hope this is clear to you now. |
