it appears that the site outages are growing pains, not an impediment to overall sales or profits.

Nah... that's not quite accurate... The site outages are normal technical glitches of a strong growing company using the latest technology meeting the needs of a growing number of customers... who:

* Pay commissions.
* Pay margin interest.
* Pay other fees.

The technology reduces the cost of providing various services, and like I said before.... Internationally, they are barely scratching the surface.

Schwab has a Web page in Chinese, and I believe (not sure of this one), a Spanish page as well.

In addition, they have their "Global Investing Services"

All available 24 hours a day.

I wonder if all of the other on line brokers can provide the above, with the quality that Schwab does.

The pain comes from the complaining hens that are either blind, short, "never to be satisfied whiners", (for whatever reason), or all of the above.

Those are the real pains.

But that's ok.... let them call CNBC and make a big deal out of it, so the hens will start selling in panic, it is the only way to achieve... buy low sell high... (or higher).
