The next two to three weeks are going to prove very interesting. I think there are a lot of people wondering whether the stock will drop following earnings of "only" 8 to 10 cents (only 60 -100% growth), considering that the stock has often dropped after earnings, and the 8 to 10 cents is below the 15 cents put out by one analyst a couple months ago (but since corrected to 10 cents).

I suspect that there are quite a number of potential buyers on the sidelines looking to pick up stock on any weakness after earnings considering that this should be their weakest quarter by far, and estimates in the 15 cent range are holding for second quarter.

But how far will it drop? We are now getting word that a major firm may initiate coverage in the next week and a half, and we are already seeing some significant buyer step in and take whatever anyone wants to sell at 6 1/8 (judging by the size of the bid). We can be pretty certain that anyone about to provide coverage will be getting their priviledged clients in first.

This should get very interesting. What sort of downside risk is their really when we are trading at a forward P/E around 10 on 30% to 40% growth - in an industry where high valuations are common.

At the very least, I think we can expect a lot of volume after earnings.

David
