<They bought multiple 3-CPU boxes, - the second cpu adds about 25% thruput, and the third adds about 5%(as far as I can figure, Please correct me.) What do they think - that they are going to upgrade to the 4th CPU?> Sounds like your company needs to contact the server vendor. There could be OS issues which hurt performance scaling when you add processors. Believe me, proper OS support is critical for good performance scalability. Tenchusatsu
