RESEARCH ALERT - AOL EPS estimates changed
NEW YORK, April 28 (Reuters) - Credit Suisse First Boston
said Wednesday it changed its 1999 earnings estimate for
America Online Inc. <AOL.N> to $0.36, reflecting the Netscape
Communications Corp. merger.
-- The firm said its new 2000 EPS estimate was $0.53.
Previous estimates were not immediately available.
-- CSFB said while the market periodically frets about the
company's ability to make the leap to a broadband service, it
believes that the online giant's 19 million customers give the
company unmatched clout.
-- CSFB reiterated its buy recommendation.
-- AOL's stock closed Tuesday at 154-9/16 after its third
quarter earnings beat Wall Street's estimates. It posted income
of $117 million, or $0.11 per diluted share.
