MICROSOFT CORP formed a streaming media division that will focus on developing and marketing technologies for consumer and business digital-media applications. In a press release Wednesday, the company said the new division joins the two existing divisions - the consumer windows division and the business and enterprise division - under Senior Vice President Jim Allchin. Microsoft said the division will be headed by Anthony Bay, general manager, who will report to Allchin. (Dow Jones)
