Thanks for your extensive comments. If I understand you correctly, it sounds like you would have gone ahead and exercised your options to buy even if the stock had dropped several points. I think you said you would do this because you had chosen the stock carefully and had faith in its eventual strength. You would then begin the process of writing covered calls to lower your NUT until you got on the positive side.
