ETrade Canada - no stops, poorly trained staff, long waits on the phone (the other day I phoned after market close, on hold 45 minutes and only got picked up then because a guy was going to make an outgoing call, been on hold 30 minutes lots of times during market open), lots of errors in postings to my account (trades that weren't mine posted, double commish common, buying power frequently wrong), trades that take forever (majority of buy orders have been "waiting" and not open even 20 minutes after placing them during non-busy times, market open you can wait half an hour - I started cancelling the orders and went through Scotia),sent a total of 4 emails to customer service about a, for example, commission problem and not one was responded to (had to phone to get it fixed), etc. etc. etc. They're still making trial offers for accounts which amazes me when they're so obviously bursting at the seams. FYI, their home page and demo is much faster than the actual trading website. In the process of closing my accounts with them (one left to get rid of) - might try Schwab.
