Look at this cc quote from Fowler:
"Neither Identix nor Identicator have put out any press releases on any additional partners, although clearly, if a guy were smart and was working with Compaq and Keytronics and Cherry, he would also try to go after all of the other channels that are similar to that, like, you know, Gateway and Dell and H-P and IBM and Novell, Motorola -- all those people, and, of course, we're pursuing any of those avenues that we can. And when they're done, we will announce those in the future, if and when they're done, and -- as well as the extent to which these channels that are in place are being successful." [Emphasis supplied.]
======================
Look at the OEM channels: Gateway, Dell, H-P and IBM (computer makers); Novell (Internet organizer wannabe); and, Motorola (cell phone manufacturer). IDX via IDT is already branching out from simply going after the computer market. Something may already be done or in progress in other major markets. |
