Thanks for a direct answer to the question I posed. 200 recharges is on the low side of acceptability. An average cell phone would need a replacement battery about once per year. 500 charges, to me, would be the minimum acceptable level, especially at the premium cost that the company hopes to take advantage of. NiCd's offer this level of rechargability (albeit with the cursed memory affect that one could have to contend with). Does Cobalt have any deleterious effects such as significantly greater cost, or environmental impact?
