I second that motion. With AMZN earning, I want to pick up some cheap CMGI. Let's see what happen tomorrow. I pick this up from thestreet.com. Amazon.com Tumbles After Hours Despite Solid Results By Heather Moore Staff Reporter 4/28/99 8:13 PM ET Amazon.com (AMZN:Nasdaq) posted a first-quarter loss of 23 cents a share, 6 cents narrower than the 21-analyst First Call outlook but deeper than the year-ago loss of 7 cents. Revenue rocketed to $294 million from $87 million a year earlier. The Internet retailer said that, since March 31, 1998, cumulative customer accounts rose to 8.4 million from 2.3 million. Accounts hopped 2.2 million from the fourth quarter. Amazon shares reportedly fell more than 15 points in after-hours trading from their New York close of 193 1/2. TheStreet.com updated a morning preview of the earnings report.
